Jan Fischer talks about the Light Art Space Berlin (founded by him in 2019).
LAS is a Berlin art platform at the interface of art, technology and science. With experimental projects in unconventional locations, both digital and physical, LAS continues to explore innovative forms of exhibition practice. In its reflections on the future, LAS follows its leitmotif of light—a symbol that stands for thinking beyond boundaries, new knowledge and innovation.

LAS is the first international client to show Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg's artwork Pollinator Pathmaker. The project includes a series of plant sculptures and a participatory initiative. Each planted sculpture is designed by a specially programmed algorithm to provide food for the widest possible variety of pollinating insects throughout the seasons. The Pollinator Pathmaker LAS Edition consists of over 7,000 plants from 80 different species that were planted on an area of 722 square meters on the forecourt of the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin. With this work of art, the artist reacts to the dramatic decline in pollinating insects, which are crucial for the reproduction of many plants and ensure the health of entire ecosystems.
Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores man's fraught relationship with nature and technology.
